Volvo’s dedication to safety is second-to-none, and the swedes really know how to build a car.
The New XC60 comes paired with all-new City Safe features such as Lane Mitigation, Semi-Autonomous driving features, Steering assist to help prevent collisions and assists in lane departure. Volvo’s Pilot Assist program also takes care of steering, acceleration, and braking on well-marked highways up to 80 mph, as long as the driver keeps their hands lightly on the wheel.
Volvo also uses a variety of high strength steel and aluminium materials throughout the construction of the vehicle.
Volvo has also released some crash test footage to show you the kind of safety the Volvo requires as “standard equipment,” something that others have failed on.
I fully trust Volvo in the strides they’ve made for safety. I applaud you.
